Support the Food Pantry: The Township Food Pantry is experiencing increased demand and lower donations this summer. The Pantry serves 175 families monthly, a number that has doubled since the pandemic. Learn how you can donate food, other items, or make a monetary donation at vernontownship.com/157/Food-Pantry. Thank you for your support!

Thank you to Mellody Farm and Tangled Roots: The Township thanks Tangled Roots (a newly opened restaurant and brewery) in Vernon Hills, for their weekly produce donations and for an upcoming $2,500 contribution to the Food Pantry, in partnership with Mellody Farm. This donation is especially impactful during the summer when donations are typically lower. An additional thank you to Tangled Roots for their efforts to raise funds for the Food Pantry. Through September 30, the location will be donating $1 to the Food Pantry for each specialty item purchased. Learn more about Tangled Roots at tangledrootsbrewingco.com/locations/vernon-hills/ or call 847-513-8780.
