Join North Shore Distillery and their friends at Binny's in Vernon Hillson Thursday, September 12th @ 6:30 pm for a private tasting with North Shore Distillery. Co-founder of the distillery, Sonja Kassebaum, will be guiding you through the session. We will start with a brief history of the distillery and then walk everyone through a guided tasting with NSD gins, vodkas, and liqueurs. We will taste the spirits neat and introduce some cocktails, including a mixology component on how to prepare them and work with the different spirits. The focus and theme of this event will be Lush Ladies: Women in the Alcohol Business.
Throughout history, women have played important roles in the production and consumption of alcoholic beverages around the world. In this class, we’ll walk through the history of alcohol from ancient times to today, and we’ll discuss some incredible women and their contributions to cocktails and spirit. We’ll touch on brewing and winemaking, but most of our time will be spent on cocktails and spirits. Class will feature North Shore Distillery spirits, and will be taught by our Chief Cocktail Nerd, Sonja Kassebaum.
