Learn Your Options For Registering To Vote in Mokena

As the March 20 General Primary Election nears, officials say now is the time to ensure you're properly registered to vote in Will County.

MOKENA, IL -- As the March 20 General Primary Election nears, village officials say now is the time to ensure you're properly registered to vote in Will County.

The deadline to register in person or by mail is set at Feb. 20. Those wishing to register online have until March 4.

Not sure if you’re a registered voter? You can check online, thanks to the State Board of Elections, or by calling the Will County Clerk’s Office at 815-740-4620.

Those needing to register have options. Residents who would like to do so by mail must complete and send a form, that's available for downloading online. Hopeful voters preferring to virtually register can visit the application registration website. Those wanting to register in person should bring to forms of identification to the Mokena Village Hall, 11004 Carpenter St., between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

  • One must show your current name and address
  • Only one may be a piece of mail postmarked within the past 30 days
  • Other acceptable forms include:
    • Driver’s License
    • State ID Card
    • Utility Bill
    • Checkbook
    • Library Card
    • Credit Card
    • Birth Certificate
    • Social Security Card
    • Employee ID Card
    • Student ID Card
    • Insurance Card
