Village Of Mokena: Beautification Awards Handed Out To Mokena Residents And Businesses

There were 64 winners from 2021 and 65 winners from 2022, plus an additional 20 Lifetime Beautification Awards.

MOKENA, IL — A total of 149 Beautification Awards were handed out recently to residents and businesses at the Community Affairs Commission’s annual awards ceremony at Mokena’s Local 597 Pipefitters Training Facility.

Awards were presented by Mayor Pro-Tem George Metanias and Trustee/Community Affairs Commission Chair Debbie Engler to 64 winners from 2021 and 65 winners from 2022.

An additional 20 families received the Lifetime Beautification Award, an accolade bestowed when a property has been designated an annual winner at least three times.

Winners are selected each year by an independent panel of resident volunteer judges from across the Mokena community.
