Cherry Lane Underpass Reconstruction Underway In Northbrook
The reopening of Cherry Lane is anticipated to be no later than July 7, according to the Village of Northbrook.

As planned for in the Village’s Capital Improvement Plan, the reconstruction of the Cherry Lane Underpass from Cedar Lane to Meadow Road is scheduled to begin May 1, 2023. The project is necessary due to the significant deterioration of the concrete panel joints along Cherry Lane. Cherry Lane will maintain at least one-way traffic for the duration of the project with a detour established for the other direction. The reopening of Cherry Lane is anticipated to be no later than July 7, 2023, and the final competition date is anticipated to be no later than July 14, 2023.
