Election 2023: Village Races Take Shape In Northbrook

The consolidated municipal elections are set for April 4 with races for village and school boards, among others, on the ballot.

NORTHBROOK, IL — With Election Day less than 10 weeks away, voters are beginning to figure out who they might vote for. The consolidated municipal elections are set for April 4, with early voting getting underway in Cook County March 20.

NORTHBROOK VILLAGE BOARD

Three seats are up for grabs in an uncontested race on the Northbrook Village Board. Current trustees Robert Israel, Heather E. Ross and Johanna Hebl, all part of the new Northbrook Caucus of 2023 party, are running for reelection, according to Village Clerk Debbie Ford.

NORTHBROOK PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD

Four seats are up for grabs on the Northbrook Public Library Board as well in another uncontested race. Incumbents Maura Bishop, Howard Jay Glaubinger and Stacy Oliver are running for reelection. They will be joined on the ballot by Janet Spector Bishop. Current trustee Sharon Bergstein not running.
