The North Suburban YMCA 2021 Summer Camp registration is now open, offering an exciting selection of over 40 general and special interest day camps for children in pre-K through junior high school. All camp programs provide a safe, nurturing, and creative environment to support the development of each child.

Following strict guidelines by YMCA of the USA, the American Camp Association, the CDC, and state and local authorities, the Y successfully facilitated its 2020 summer camps without a single case of COVID-19. Emphasis was placed on forming smaller group sizes, keeping kids socially distanced, wearing masks when indoors, and frequent handwashing.

“As an organization dedicated to youth development, we know how important it is for children to have access to the resources they need to thrive,” said Ricky Gonzalez, the Director of the NSYMCA Summer Camps. “The Y Day Camps offer a safe, enriching environment where kids can get outdoors, and spend time together while practicing social, emotional, and problem-solving skills.”
