Home Intruder Hit Man With Bat, Threatened At Gunpoint: Oak Forest

According to police, the man knew one of the people in the Terrace Drive home that he forced his way into last week.

OAK FOREST, IL — A Country Club Hills man was arrested and accused of home invasion last week after Oak Forest police said he broke into a home on Terrace Drive.

According to police, 52-year-old Affice Jackson forced his way into an apartment on the 15700 block of Terrace Drive just before 4 a.m. Wednesday, June 15. Once inside, officers said Jackson hit one of the residents in the head with a baseball bat and then threatened him with a gun.

Oak Forest Police Chief Jason Reid said two people were home at the time and that Jackson knew one of them. The man who was struck in the head refused medical treatment once police arrived.
