OAK LAWN, IL — If you like homemade cookies, then head over to First United Methodist Church of Oak Lawn, aka the "Pumpkin Church," at 100th Street and Central Avenue for a cookie bonanza Saturday, Dec. 2. The Cookie Bonanza runs from 9 a.m. until the cookies sell out.

All the cookies are lovingly made by the United Methodist Women. Buy your holiday cookies now and freeze them for the holidays. Give as a gift to friends and family or serve them for a great dessert. It's okay to tell people that you made the cookies yourself.
