OAK LAWN, The ox and lamb will be keeping time at the Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church live, outdoor Nativity, Saturday, Dec. 17. The Living Nativity will start at 7 p.m. in the church parking lot at 10400 S. Kostner Ave., Oak Lawn.

All children may participate in the story of the Nativity, told with live animals. Due to CDC guidelines, the church cannot provide costumes, so bring your own if you have one. Angels, shepherds and wise men are suggested. The church has garland headbands that kids can wear. Come even if you don’t have a costume. There are no speaking parts.

Sing carols, pet the animals, and hear the story of Jesus’ birth. Refreshments will be served afterward in the social hall. For more information, call 708-423-6554.
