Get Creative With Santa Saturday At Acorn To Oak Studios

OAK LAWN, IL — Let Santa spark your children’s creativity from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 16, at Acorn to Oak Studios, the Southland’s newest, non-profit creative center based in Oak Lawn.

Kids ages 3 to 12 will have a unique opportunity to hang out with Santa as they craft a snowman canvas painting and create their own winter wonderland. It’s a perfect time to sneak off with the kids to make a meaningful, handmade gift for mom, dad or grandparents that will be treasured for a lifetime.

“Creating With Santa” also features a cookie and hot cocao station, games, music and movement and more. Registration is required so the studio knows how many supplies to have on hand. The cost is $20 per child. For more info, email [email protected].

Acorn to Oak Studios is a new, independent creative center for all ages located in the heart of Oak Lawn. The non-profit studio endeavors to support artists and the creative arts on Chicago’s Southwest Side and south suburbs. The studio is located in the North Wing, PFUCC, 9411 S. 51st Ave., Oak Lawn.
