OAK LAWN, IL — The adage is that a great leadoff hitter can ignite an offense to bigger and better things. For Oak Lawn Community High School’s softball team, senior Natalie Orozco is that catalyst. She has simply been on fire through all season.

Orozco finished the year hitting .409 with ten doubles, seven triples, five home runs, 35 runs scored and 26 RBIs. In addition, she is played a spectacular second base defensively for the Spartans.

Natalie ended being named as an all-conference player in the South Suburban Conference Red. She was also the team’s Silver Slugger award winner.
