Westside Warriors Holding 12U Travel Team Tryouts
The Westside Warriors of Oak Lawn will be holding 12U tryouts July 29, with trips planned for Cooperstown and Myrtle Beach in 2022.
OAK LAWN, IL — The Oak Lawn Westside Warriors’ full-time travel team is looking for a few talented players to join the 12U lineup in 2022. Final tryouts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 29, at Westside Bronco Field, 9400 S. Oak Park Avenue.
The 12U team anticipates six to eight tournaments in the Chicago and Northwest, Ind., areas, and two major out-of-state tournaments at Cooperstown Dream Park in New York, and Myrtle Beach, S.C. The 12U travel team projects a season of 60 to 65 games.
Emphasis will be on fundamentals and continued player development. Off-season training sessions held at For The Love Of The Game Baseball Academy in Bridgeview.
