OAK LAWN, IL — Reichman Jewelers, that has sold over 100,000 engagement rings since 1908, is winding down its 38-year run at 4439 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn. Owners Odyss Tsarouhis and Paul Stein announced in the fall that they would be closing the location following an armed robbery last July that left Tsarouhis with a bullet in his chest.

For the past week, the partners have been selling the last of its inventory. Every item, Pandora, Gabriel & Co., Swarovski, Frederic Duclos, Royal Pearl, Atlantic Diamond, Rand & Paseka and other fine jewelry, or whatever is left of it – has been marked down at 81 percent off.

“Thank you for ALL of your support during our store closing sale,” the owners said in a text. “We are here for three more days, and we can NOT take this inventory with us.”

The partners say many amazing pieces are left in the store’s cases, so stop by this weekend to shop for a special occasion. The store is expected to close Sunday.

Tsarouhis and Stein plan to keep Reichman’s 1908 streak of continuous business going by moving to a small office in Palos Hills, where they will serve customers by appointment only, at an address soon to be announced.
