Richards varsity girls win Hinsdale Central Invitational

Third tournament championship this season for Bulldogs!

The varsity girls bowling team from Richards High School won first place at the Hinsdale Central Girls Varsity Invitational on Saturday. The Bulldogs led after the first game and never trailed, finishing with a 5369 pin fall.

Ulyssa Garcia placed first among all bowlers with a 1324 series -- she also tossed the high game of the tournament with a 256! Katie Barr finished third overall with an 1161 series.

It's been an amazing season so far for coach Ed Fink and his team. Richards won first place at the Bremen and Oak Lawn tournaments and second place at the Reavis tournament.
