Shepard wins IHSA Regional championship

Astros knock off top seed Sandburg

The varsity boys soccer team from Shepard High School won the IHSA Regional championship with a 5-1 victory over Sandburg, the top ranked team in the region in the most recent Daily Southtown poll and the #1 sectional seed.
