St. Gerald Carnival: Great Rides, Music, Eats, Drinks And Folks
St. Gerald's Fest and Carnival is back featuring bands, bingo, beer, rides, games and raffles Aug. 11 through Aug. 14.
OAK LAWN, IL — St. Gerald Fest and Carnival is back for the first time in two years at the corner of 55th Court and 93rd Street in Oak Lawn. The carnival runs for four fun-filled days, Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 11 to Aug. 14, featuring rides, games, Bingo, children’s activities food, live music and beer garden.
Mega-passes offering unlimited rides all four days can be purchased online for $75 until noon, Aug. 10, or $85 during the carnival. Pick up your pass or buy one at the Mega Pass Booth during the carnival; or use the QR code below. No one-day passes are being sold this year.
St. Gerald parishioners will be grilling up burgers and hot dogs in the Father Malcolm Food Tent, along with offerings from local restaurants. Parishioners will also be selling the late Father Malcolm’s famous homemade bread using his secret recipe.

The carnival committee has also lined up some great bands, including Fifty One Lincoln, The Ron Burgundy’s, Billy Denton, Dr. Y and the Prescriptions, Dancing Noodles, Smiley and Warren Tillmon, Mark Gorka Acoutstic and Hurricane Gumbo.
Bingo, pull tabs and other raffles offer fest goers a chance to win some great prizes and cash. This year, the parish will be raffling off a GRAND PRIZE of $10,000 on Sunday, Sept. 11. Second prize is $3,000 and a $1,000 third prize. Parishioners will be selling tickets to during the carnival, for $50 each, or three for $100.
