The summer of STEAM in D218

MVCC once again organizes an amazing, FREE experience

More popular than ever, the amazing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Camps for elementary school students hosted by District 218 and Moraine Valley Community College offer a first look at computer coding, programming, building robots, and much more.

This year, due to construction projects at Eisenhower and Shepard, Richards High School hosts all STEAM camps. Lots of coding today -- both writing lines and learning to program WeDo Robots, a Lego educational platform, for these rising third graders.

It's just the start of a great summer for future engineers, astronauts, doctors, accountants, and coders -- after this week, District 218 will host four more camps (they're all full). If you would like to get on the waiting list:
