Welcome Fall At Oak Lawn Children's Museum's Fall Fun Fest

OAK LAWN, IL — It’s going to be fun, fun, fun at the Children’s Museum of Oak Lawn’s Fall Fun Fest this Sunday, Sept. 29.. The fest runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All outside activities are FREE, with half-off admission to the museum sponsored by AARP during the fest.

The theme of this year’s fall fest is outer space. The museum has a fall cornucopia of activities and games planned for the kiddos, including photo ops with the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, free train rides, face painting (for a fee), a bouncy house, bike raffle, science booths, and touch a police car and fire truck. Free pumpkins will given away for the first 650 children.

Fun Fun Fun DJs will be entertaining all day (do I hear “Baby Shark”), Joon Lee’s Taekwondo of Oak Lawn (11 a.m.), the Lavin-Cassidy School of Irish Dancing (noon), Homes 4 Monarchs demos, and NAWS Humane Society will be there with a few furry friends to teach families about pet safety. Kids will also have a chance to pet the animals from Erin’s Farm. Stop by the American Family Insurance booth and enter the raffle for the Children’s Museum of Oak Lawn membership giveaway.

Sponsors the fun fall fest include Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, Airway Mobile Home Community, KGM Home Inspections and Buschbach Insurance Agency, Inc. The fall fun fest will be held behind the Children’s Museum at 5100 Museum Drive, Oak Lawn. Free parking is available at the Metra Station parking tower.
