Island Nights, Ballroom Lights - Hawaiian Dance for Seniors at Oak Park Arms

Seniors from the community are invited to a Hawaiian themed ballroom dance titled, “Island Nights, Ballroom Lights” from 6 – 8 p.m. on Friday, August 23, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Avenue, Oak Park. The public is warmly welcome to attend. Admission is free and RSVP is required.

Live music will be provided by Swing Set, directed by Dave Vieitev. The 18-piece orchestra plays music from 1940s through the 1960s and selections from The Beatles, Steely Dan, and other more contemporary groups.

“Live music and dancing are always a hit in our historic ballroom,” Renee Steingard, director leasing and resident engagement at the Oak Park Arms. “Seeing all the seniors wearing Hawaiian themed clothing and leis will certainly spice up our dance.”
