Orland Township’s New Walk & Talk Program

These new group walks will be held at a slower pace with frequent stopping, if needed.

ORLAND PARK, IL — Orland Township offers a variety of exercise classes to improve and maintain residents’ overall health and fitness while appealing to a wide range of interests. Classes are held in a safe environment with certified instructors trained to recognize the needs of each individual. These instructors are available, through the Township office, to answer any questions or concerns.

The Township is inviting residents to join the new Walk & Talk fitness program. There is no cost to partake in the group. Starting on May 16, participants will meet at 8:30 a.m. every Monday -at Orland Township, located at 14807 S. Ravinia in Orland Park- for general exercise and socializing. These walks will be held at a slower pace with frequent stopping, if needed. Those interested must pre-register with Diane at (708) 403 -4222.

Walk & Talk aims to better the quality of life for participants by using physical activity to help boost energy, increase confidence, and reduce stress. The club also acts as a support group by uniting residents, providing an opportunity to create meaningful connections.
