13-Year-Old Had Brass Knuckles And Alcohol In Boulder Hill: Sheriff's Department

Deputies were investigating a report of juveniles entering a vacant building

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Sheriff's deputies on Sunday in Boulder Hill for possessing alcohol and brass knuckles, according to the Sheriff's Department. Just after 8: 30 p.m. on Sunday, deputies and Oswego police investigated a report of three juveniles entering a vacant building on the 0-100 block of Circle Drive East. During the investigation, one of the juveniles was found to have alcohol and brass knuckles. Illinois State law prohibits the possession of "metal knuckles." The incident is still under investigation. The day prior, residents reported a group of three juveniles in Boulder Hill cutting down flags and threatening a resident with knives. It is not immediately clear if the incidents are related.
