Oswego High School grad makes dean’s list, finishes second at swim conference

Skylar Ruggles, who graduated from Oswego High school and swam on the Oswego High School co-op team, made the fall 2023 dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with straight A’s. She is a junior with a major in communications and a minor in journalism.

Her Horizon League Swim Conference meet was in February, when she came in second place for the whole conference in the 200 back.

Elmhurst University's Fall 2023 Dean's List

Over 950 Elmhurst University students were named to the Fall 2023 Dean's List. The Dean's List is composed of students who during the term concerned, attained a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher (out of a possible 4.00).

Student from Oswego graduates from UW-Whitewater

Kaitlyn Grove from Oswego earned a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at winter commencement, held December 16, 2023. Grove graduated with a bachelor's degree in theatre.

Approximately 620 students crossed the stage to receive their degrees at the ceremony, held at Kachel Fieldhouse in the Williams Center. The graduating class included three international students, 64 military veterans and 141 nontraditional students, defined as undergraduate students who are 25 years of age or older. In addition, 74 self-identified students with disabilities received degrees.
