KENDALL COUNTY, IL — Extremely hot and potentially stormy weather is predicted this week, including in Kendall County.

Severe weather is possible Wednesday, as thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service. But before the rain may come, the day started with heat index values of 100 degrees to 105 degrees, Patch reported.

There is also a chance of storms on Thursday, which will be a bit cooler, with a high of 83 degrees.
