Educators In Kendall Co. Can Get COVID-19 Vaccine On Sunday

Education workers who live or work in the county can schedule their first vaccine shot Sunday at Yorkville High School.

KENDALL COUNTY, IL — The Kendall County Health Department has designated Sunday as "Super Educator Sunday" for COVID-19 vaccinations.

In a press release, the health department said that all education workers including congregate child care, pre-K through 12th grade teachers, principals, student support, student aides and day care workers that reside or work in Kendall County are invited to schedule an appointment to receive a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road.

  • Reside in Kendall County (with proof)
  • Work as an Educator in Kendall County (with proof)
  • Have not yet received a COVID-19 vaccine dose

"Please understand we continue to experience limited supply of vaccine and we expect appointments will book quickly for this event. Please be patient, additional clinic events for educators, as well as, other Phase 1B front line workers will be added as vaccine inventory allows," health department officials said in a release.
