Funeral Services Set for Aurora Central Catholic Teens Killed in Crash

Visitation and funeral services for Seth Egger and Allison Bradford scheduled for Sunday and Monday.

Funeral services for the Aurora Central Catholic High School students who died in a traffic accident Tuesday evening are scheduled for Sunday and Monday. Seth E. Egger, 16, of Montgomery, and Allison P. “Ally” Bradford, 16, of Aurora, died when the SUV they were riding in struck a semi tractor-trailer.

The teens were on their way to a high school basketball game. The driver, a 17-year-old male student, was hospitalized. Three other students escaped injury in the accident on Illinois Route 38 in Rochelle.

Seth Egger’s visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Montgomery at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. A funeral Mass will take place Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 85 S. Constitution Drive, Aurora.

Visitation for Allison Bradford will be Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery. A funeral Mass will be said at 1 p.m., Monday, at St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church, 750 W. Old Indian Trail, Aurora, with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.

OBITUARY INFORMATION

Born on Feb. 4, 1999, Seth Egger had recently celebrated his 16th birthday. He is the son of the late Dennis Egger and Jacqueline (Gonzalez) Egger. He is survived by his mom; sister, Miranda Egger; maternal grandparents, Roy and Barb Gonzalez; uncles Christopher (Diane) Gonzalez and Damian (Maria) Gonzalez; an aunt, Raquel (Jeffrey) Thomas; a great-grandmother, Agatha Douglas; and eight cousins. His father passed away in 2003.

Born on Nov. 1, 1998, Allison Bradford is the daughter of Curt and Dianna (Morales) Bradford. She attended St. Rita of Cascia Catholic School until eighth grade.She is survived by her mom, Dianna Bradford; her father Curt (Lucy Fonseca) Bradford; her brother, Robert Kuptz; maternal grandmother, Tina Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Jay and Sue Bradford; uncles, Joe, Rick and Mike Morales, Ed Bradford, Will (Jennifer) Bradford and John Bradford; aunts, Suzanne (Shawn) Neidel, Melinda Grosse, Becky Morales and Amy Thompson. She is also survived by a lifelong friend, Julie Pruneda.
