Junior Police Academy Returns to Oswego June 19 and June 23

The academy is offered free of charge to all current District 308 junior high school students. Applications are due June 1.

OSWEGO, IL - The Oswego Police Department will be hosting two sessions of the Junior Police Academy again this summer, June 19 to June 23 and July 17 to July 21 at the Oswego Law Enforcement Center.

Both sessions are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to noon and it's offered free of charge to all current District 308 junior high school students.

Students will learn about conducting traffic stops, crime scene investigation, building searches and more.

The applications are due by June 1 and are available in the lobby of the law enforcement center or online at at Oswego's Junior Police Academy.
