Oswego Week Ahead Weather: Sun Followed By Storms

The weather in Oswego this week will be sunny for the first half, followed by potentially heavy storms in the second half.

OSWEGO, IL -- Oswego will see a sunny first half of the week followed by chances of showers and thunderstorms in the second half of the week. High temperatures are expected to be in the 80's throughout the week until Friday, when it will drop to the low 70's.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather alert for Monday, warning of potential flooding on the Fox River. The alert also warns of a limited thunderstorm risk on Tuesday and Wednesday, which will grow to an elevated thunderstorm risk on Thursday.

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.

Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 64.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Thursday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely before 1am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 73.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 55.
