Oswego's St. Patrick's Day Scavenger Hunt To Benefit Local Pantry

Registration for the annual St. Patrick's Day event is currently open.

OSWEGO, IL — Oswego's St. Patrick's Day scavenger hunt will be back for another season March 12.

Similar to years past, net proceeds will benefit the Kendall County Food Pantry.

The scavenger hunt, done in drive-around style, will last from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. starting at Village Hall, 100 Parkers Mill. Participants are encouraged to dress up and decorate their cars while "sham-rocking" around town.

Families can tour Oswego while hunting for clues and searching for shamrocks. On top of it, they're also in for a chance to win prizes — up to $100 in certificates.

Registration, via Eventbrite, is currently open for the event. Tickets per family range from $20-$25 depending on when they're purchased.
