Strangling Attempt Leads To Aggravated Battery Charges For Oswego Area Man

Kendall County Sheriff's deputies allege the man strangled a victim in a domestic incident in Oswego Township.

OSWEGO, IL — An Oswego Township man is facing felony battery charges after strangling a victim Thursday, according to officials at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office.

The aggravated domestic battery charge against Felix L. Santiago, 58, is a result of the strangling allegation, Deputy Dan Briars told Patch.

Deputies were dispatched at 6:57 p.m. Thursday to a residence on Light Road in Oswego Township for the disturbance.

Santiago was also charged with domestic battery, bodily harm, and domestic battery, insulting/provoking, both misdemeanors, according to the sheriff's jail logs.

The man remains held at the Kendall County jail as he awaits his Friday afternoon court date.
