'Nicole Is Proof That Experience Matters:' OPINION

PALOS PARK, IL — I cannot understand the arrogance of one thinking they can just walk into the Kaptur Center, and assume the integral position of Mayor.

Nicole Milovich-Walters opponent has absolutely no experience or knowledge of the four Departments of the Village. A Mayor with no experience would place tremendous onus on Village department heads and staff. When asked to serve on two different boards, where she would have gained experience, Nicole's opponent said no. She only wanted to be the Mayor. Seems very much a self-serving, power hungry act.

I am a former Palos Park Village Clerk, with a 19-year history of working for the Village. I've been through several campaigns and elections. I am truly saddened by the untruths and the tactics comprising the campaign led by Nicole's opponent. Our residents do not deserve such behavior.

Nicole has worked, and made decisions in the best interest of the Village for 16 years.
She is strong, and has remained positive during her campaign. Nicole is proof that experience matters.
