PALOS PARK, IL — As the mayoral campaign rages in Palos Park, I wanted to share some final thoughts:

Yes, both sides have made claims and said things they may wish they hadn’t. The downside of social media can be plainly seen in this election. It is creating an environment we have not seen in our local community.

All the back and forth of “she said/she said” is blurring the real question – who would be the best mayor of Palos Park?

Nicole has extensive experience working with our Police Chief. Our track record of public safety is outstanding. Her leadership will continue to be a source of comfort and pride for everyone in Palos Park.

She has been a part of the budget and finance process for 16 years. Our finances have been transparent and sound and under her leadership. She has been involved in our Building and Property works for 16 years.

Nicole recognizes the importance of collaborative governance. She will strive to serve our residents in a manner that will make them proud of their community. We may not always agree with her every decision, but can be confident that they will be made in a well-reasoned manner.

I urge all to vote for Nicole for Mayor on April 4.
