Palos Hills Fireworks Reset For Aug. 31

PALOS HILLS, IL — The City of Palos Hills has rescheduled the community fireworks show that was canceled last month due to rain on the final day of Friendship Fest. The new date is Saturday, Aug. 31 on the Moraine Valley Community College fest grounds at 107th Street and 88th Avenue.

Spectators may enter off the 88th Street entrance at Moraine Valley starting at 6:30 p.m. The fireworks will blast off around 8:15 p.m.

Parking will be available at Moraine Valley. Concessions and glow sticks will be available for purchase. Highlander House will be selling ice cream, with Bobalicious selling tea, tacos, pretzels and beverages.

Please note that no alcohol or tobacco is allowed on the campus. If you need to smoke, do it in your car. For more info call 708-430-4500.
