PALOS PARK, IL — Genuine, compassionate, resourceful, and extremely intelligent, are the adjectives that best describe Ronette McCarthy.

Ronette's commitment to The Park and its community are sincere. We should know, we are some of the first people the McCarthys met when they planted roots in Palos Park. Ronette, has rallied for change, always challenging the status quo, consistently, asking the questions, how can we do this better?

It comes as no surprise to us that she threw her hat in the mayoral candidate ring, we’ve always felt that this was her calling. She loves her community and embraces change for the better.
As parents of a child with autism, we were unsure how to navigate the waters within the school system. We wanted to feel secure that District 118 was addressing our son's needs and that the best services available were provided. As parents, we were fish out of the water and relied heavily upon Ronette on multiple occasions for advice, guidance, support and even representation at school IEP reviews, and with regards to advocacy programs.

Let us tell you folks, this lady knows a lot about a lot. We truly believe Palos Park will be in better hands with Ronette in your corner. We say this because we know. She looked out for our family and never asked for a single dime in return. She was just doing what she felt she needed to do to help out a family in need of her legal expertise. That is exactly the type person you want representing the constituents of Palos Park. Someone who will roll up their sleeves and spend time on something even if there's nothing in it for them.

She’s got our ringing endorsement.
