Plainfield Woman Wins $75K on $1 Lotto Ticket
She said she plans to invest her winnings.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A Plainfield woman is $75,000 richer after buying a $1 lottery ticket.
Plainfield resident Lea Klein won $75,000 when her $1 Lucky Day Lotto Quick Pick ticket matched all five numbers – 03 - 06 - 31 - 33 - 43 – in the Friday, Nov. 11, evening drawing.
“I plan to invest my winnings,” she said when she presented her ticket at the Illinois Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.

Klein bought her winning ticket at Jewel-Osco, 13460 S. Route 59, in Plainfield. The retailer received a bonus of $750, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. Two winning tickets split the November 11 $150,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot. The other $75,000 winning ticket, also a Quick Pick, was purchased at Oak Pantry and Deli, 6925 Joliet Road, in Indian Head Park.
