Take a Migratory Bird Hike at Lake Renwick Heron Rookery Nature Preserve

PLAINFIELD, IL — Join a “Migratory Bird Hike” to view waterfowl, eagles and songbirds as they rest during migration at the Forest Preserve District of Will County’s Lake Renwick Heron Rookery Nature Preserve, located on Renwick Road, 0.5 mile east of Route 30.

Hikes will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. on two Saturdays: Oct. 29 and Nov. 5. Dress for the weather, and bring your favorite field guide and binoculars. The free program is for ages 7 and older.
