How Much Rain Has Fallen In Arlington Heights These Past 2 Days?

The rain is expected to continue through Friday afternoon.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — After a wet, record-setting May, the Chicago area has been ready for some dry summer weather. Last weekend's mini-heat wave might have seemed like that would be the case, but rain for the past few days has dampened that idea.

According to the National Weather Service, Arlington Heights received 2.17 inches of rain over the past two days as of 10 a.m. Friday, June 22. Some parts of the village received as much as 2.25 inches, according to the weather service.

Rain totals for the NWS were collected by observers throughout Cook County. The totals are taken at 7 a.m.
