Here are the top three stories in Indianapolis today:

  1. Theater lovers won't want to miss the touring production of the Broadway musical "Dear Evan Hansen," headed to Indianapolis this week. The national tour, shut down for nearly two years amid the pandemic, runs Tuesday through Sunday at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre. Tickets for all performances can be purchased online. (WISH TV Indianapolis, IN)
  2. Indianapolis area high school students participated in a cooking competition to raise funds for families on the near east side. The "Chopped"-style competition featured four teams squaring off for the title of Master Chef, using items from the Westminster Food Pantry to create appetizers. The event is part of an annual fundraiser for Westminster Neighborhood Services, a local organization supporting Indianapolis families in need. (WTHR)
  3. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reports several people were shot early Saturday morning. Three victims were injured in three separate shooting calls over the course of a few hours; one victim is in critical condition and another is in serious condition. As of Sunday evening, authorities have not identified any of the victims or potential suspects. (WISH TV Indianapolis, IN)
