Health Inspection Report: Two Downtown Indianapolis Spots

Information on recent health inspections performed by Marion County Public Health Department.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — If you go out to eat at local restaurants, you may often wonder about the cleanliness of the restaurants you eat at. Thankfully, a recent routine inspection and recheck at Harry & Izzy's, located at 7800 Col. H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive. There was only one infraction noted from the Marion County Public Health Department from a Sept. 6, 2017 routine inspection, which was fixed a week later during a Sept. 13, 2017 recheck.

That infraction is listed as Hand sink location blocked, which was corrected upon recheck.

However, Howl at the Moon, located at 20 E. Georgia Street, Indianapolis, had two recent infractions when inspected on Aug. 25, 2017. Both were either corrected on site or corrected by an Aug. 31, 2017 recheck.

These infractions are listed as Food Contact Surface (S) Soiled, and Toxic Labeling (pictured).
