Kroger, Whole Foods, Walmart: Thanksgiving Grocery Store Hours

INDIANAPOLIS, IN - No matter how much you prepare and how many preparation "jobs" you share, there might be a last-minute purchase needed for your Thanksgiving dinner. To help ease your stress, Patch has provided a list of grocery stores and supermarkets, to let you know which are open and closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23. We've included store hours in case you need to make a quick run for some rolls, wine or some type of mix.

Here's a list of Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours (in case you're out of food after turkey time) for Indianapolis grocery chains, taken from their websites and emails to Patch. Some may vary. We've also included links to these go-to stores, for more information.

• Whole Foods: Hours for Indianapolis and Carmel locations: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
• Trader Joes: All stores closed on Thanksgiving.
• Fresh Market: Open 8 a.m.-9 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
• ALDI: All stores are closed on Thanksgiving.
• Costco: All stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. Open 9 a.m. on Black Friday.
• Sam's Club: All stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day.
• Walmart: Stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day and will unveil Black Friday deals at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.
• Target: Stores open at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving and close at midnight; stores re-open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
