Here are the top stories in New Orleans today:

  1. A shooting left a man with multiple gunshot wounds while he was driving down I-10 on Wednesday afternoon. The man was near the Louisa exit and drove himself to a business close by where law enforcement and EMS arrived, and he was rushed to the hospital shortly after. (WWLTV.com)
  2. Yesterday was the deadline for the 49,000 signatures on the petition to recall Mayor LaToya Cantrell. Organizers of the effort claim to have enough signatures and feel they might need even less if their lawsuit, which says there are 25,000 inactive voters, is successful. A hearing is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 27. (WGNO New Orleans)
  3. Bond has been set for over $1 million for the suspect in the fatal Bacchus parade shooting that left four injured and one dead. The amount is double the bail that was requested by the prosecution and was set on his second-degree murder charge along with $10,000 for carrying an illegal weapon. (FOX 8 Local First)
