Maine Power Outages: 30,000 Still In The Dark

Nearly 30,000 in Maine were still without power Wednesday afternoon after Winter Storm Stella dumped 2 feet of snow Tuesday.

AUGUSTA, ME — Nearly 30,000 in Maine were still without power Wednesday afternoon after Winter Storm Stella knocked out service across the state.

On Wednesday at 12 p.m., there were 25,904 without power in the southern part of the state — mostly in York County, according to Central Maine Power. At the same time, Emera reported 3,505 outages in central and eastern parts of the state.
