Pilot Crash-Lands On Maine Highway

A pilot and a passenger were hurt after crash-landing on Interstate 295 in Bowdoinham Tuesday morning.

BOWDOINHAM, ME — A pilot made a crash-landing on Interstate 295 in Bowdoinham Tuesday after this plane experienced a malfunction. The incident happened at about 10:15 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway. The pilot and a passenger suffered minor injuries, according to WMTW.

State Police said the pilot landed on the highway and crashed into a guardrail. A driver had to swerve out of the way as the plane landed, according to WMTW.
