Spirit Halloween Stores Open For 2022 Near Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD — It’s September, and with fall unofficially underway, the Halloween season has arrived. And for all your spooky shopping needs, more than 1,400 seasonal Spirit Halloween stores have opened nationwide, including several near Annapolis.

Spirit sells Halloween décor, plus costumes and accessories for children, teens and adults. The store in Edgewater is open in the former Kmart at 3255 Solomons Island Road.

Customers who do their shopping online can filter costumes by category including TV shows, movies, decades, clowns — and more specifically, “scary clowns” — and more. Filters are also available by size, price or rating.

There are nearly eight weeks until Halloween, but Spirit already has popular costumes, including characters from “Stranger Things,” “Top Gun,” “Encanto” and more.

Shoppers can also buy props, makeup, accessories and more.
