The 4-Seam is making reference to the 4-Seam Fastball.

When an MLB pitcher is on the bump, one of his go-to pitches to challenge a batter is his 4-seam fastball. It may come 90-95 mph. The pitcher is saying can you catch-up to it. If a batter is in fastball-mode he might connect and drive the ball 425 ft. for a majestic home run that amazes the fans in the stands and the players in the dugout. At Camden Yards you could see a ball land on Eutaw Street. Eutaw Street inside Oriole Park is only a few steps from the Iconic "Charm'tastic Mile".

With the Red Sox coming to town The "Charm'tastic Mile" has named this 4-game set as the AL East "4-Seam Series". The O's are 1/2 game behind the NY Yankees (72-50) who will start a 3-game series on the road vs the Detroit Tigers (58-63).

One of the highlights during the 4-game set will be on Saturday Night when the Orioles will have Colton Cowser "The Milkman" T-Shirt night. Cowser wears the #17 and the game is on August 17th. One of the local-symbols for the game will be the Charm City #17 jersey that was made for St Patrick's Day 5-months earlier to the day of the game on March 17th. The jersey is highlighted in orange/green. The Shamrock Green color is connected to Boston the city and their 2024 defending NBA Champion Celtics.
