What's Open, Closed In Havre de Grace For Thanksgiving 2019

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and many agencies are also closed for the holiday in addition to Friday, including city government offices, schools and the post office.

Here's a rundown of what's open and what's closed in Havre de Grace for Thanksgiving 2019:

CLOSED

• City of Havre de Grace municipal government offices (also closed Friday)
• Harford County Government (also closed Friday)
• Harford County Public Library (libraries close at 5 p.m. Wednesday; also closed Friday)
• Harford County Public Schools will close three hours early on Wednesday. Schools will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29.
• Harford Community College: Campus will be open Wednesday, but no classes are scheduled. The campus will be closed Thanksgiving and remain closed until Monday, Dec. 2. The HCC library will be open on Saturday and Sunday.
• Harford County Health Department (also closed Friday)
• Harford County Circuit and District courts
• Post offices
• Banks
• Federal and state government offices
• Harford County Waste Disposal

There will be no trash collection in Havre de Grace Thanksgiving Day. Collections for the remainder of the week will be delayed by one day.
