Final Week to Apply for BofA's 2024 Student Leaders Internship
Paid internship supports DC-area non-profit and provides hands-on civics learning
Northern Virginia students have one week left to apply for Bank of America’s Student Leaders paid internship program. Selected students will participate in an eight-week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization, learning first-hand about the needs of our community and the critical role nonprofits play. Greater Washington, DC area Student Leaders will also join students from around the country for a one-week summit in the capital, engaging in hands-on immersive sessions to learn how government, business and the nonprofit sector work together to address critical community needs.
Last summer, five local Student Leaders worked with the YMCA of the National Capital Region on special projects across the Y’s DC-area network, culminating with support for its annual Thingamajig Invention Convention, inspiring children to use science, technology, engineering, arts, and math to build novel creations. During their one-week summit, all five students engaged with several of the bank’s senior executives and participated in face-to-face congressional advocacy on Capitol Hill.
Bank of America’s Student Leaders paid internship is open to current high school juniors and seniors. Additional requirements and information, as well as instructions to apply, can be found at bankofamerica.com/studentleaders.
