Wags N' Whiskers Returns To Bethesda Row On Sept. 21

BETHESDA, MD — "Wags n' Whiskers," the region's outdoor street festival for animal lovers and their pets, returns to Bethesda Row on Saturday, Sept. 21.

The second annual "Wags n' Whiskers" — from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — on Bethesda Avenue will feature more than 30 vendors offering free giveaways, treats, and gifts for you and your furry friend. The festival will also include on-site rescue organizations and pet adoptions.

"We are thrilled to once again bring the excitement of Wags n' Whiskers to Bethesda Row this fall for its second annual event, celebrating the pets and pet-lovers of our Bethesda community and beyond," said Danielle Bolger, marketing manager at Federal Realty Investment Trust, the company that manages Bethesda Row. "Pet owners can bring the whole family out — four-legged friends too — for a day of shopping, dining, and kid-friendly activities, while those looking to add to their family can find a new furry friend to bring home from the exhibitors offering on-site adoptions."

At the event, you can also:

• Shop animal accessories, necessities, and toys for your pet
• Seek advice from area veterinarians and dog trainers
• Get your pets photos taken for $5
• Have your child's face painted
• Enjoy live music

Participating retailers, including Sassanova and Framebridge, will have in-store special promotions throughout the day.
