$100K Winning Lotto Ticket Claimed By Hyattsville Man

A Hyattsville man has claimed a $100K winning lottery ticket. He plans to support his small business and make home improvements.

HYATTSVILLE, MD β€” A quick stop for lunch prompted a Hyattsville man to purchase a scratch-off ticket while there. His luck paid off as the $5,000,000 Cash scratch-off ticket won him $100,000.

Jimmy had been playing the lottery for only two years and couldn't believe he won.

β€œI never imagined winning, and can’t process that I actually won more than a few hundred dollars,” Jimmy told Maryland Lottery officials.

Although Jimmy kept his windfall a secret, confiding only in his wife and family back in Mexico, he told lottery officials that he plans to invest in his business, make improvements to his home and support his family.
