Suspect Sought In Saturday Fatal Stabbing In District Heights: PGPD

Detectives are looking for a suspect they believe is responsible for the fatal stabbing of a D.C. man Saturday in District Heights.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD β€” Detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of 41-year-old Christopher Woodland of Washington, D.C., that happened Saturday afternoon.

On Aug. 10 at approximately 2 p.m., Prince George's police officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 5600 block of Silver Hill Road in the unincorporated section of District Heights. Officers found the victim in a parking lot with a stab wound. Woodland was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later, according to police.
